NSW SES Sutherland Shire

The NSW State Emergency Service (NSWSES) is an emergency and rescue service dedicated to assisting the community. For emergency help in floods and storms call 132 500 for life threatening situations call Triple Zero.

The NSW SES is the combat agency for floods, storms and tsunami in NSW, Australia.

It is made up almost entirely of volunteers, with 228 units located throughout New South Wales. The units comprise of approximately 10,000 volunteer members, who are easily identified by their distinctive orange overalls.
